MOMENT 1 · Jesus teaches
An open heart to others.
Jesus goes up the mountain and teaches his disciples. He talks about mercy and those who work for peace. He invites us to love even our enemies. His words encourage us to look at people with compassion and to make love visible in our way of living.
Every day we can take a small step towards peace.

MOMENT 2 · Learn to pray
We can talk to God.
Jesus teaches us how to address God as Father. In the prayer we know as the Lord's Prayer, he asks that his will be done and that his kingdom come. He also talks about the bread of every day, forgiveness and help not to fall into temptation.
We can tell God what we need and remember others.

MOMENT 3 · The house on the rock
Listen and put into practice.
When he finished his teaching, Jesus tells a comparison. Whoever listens to his words and practices them is like a person who builds his house on rock. The rain and the wind come, but the house remains firm. The image of the foundations helps us think about the decisions that support our life.
What we learn comes to life when we put it into practice.

TO SAVE IN THE HEART
Love becomes visible in what we do.
FOUR VOICES, ONE STORY
Return to the Gospels.
Matthew gathers many teachings in chapters 5 to 7. Luke presents related teachings in chapter 6. We include references so each teaching can be read in context.
