MOMENT 1 · The empty tomb

The stone is rolled away.

After the Sabbath, Mary Magdalene, Mary, the mother of James, and Salome go to the tomb very early. They wonder who will remove the stone, but when they arrive they see that it has already been removed. Inside they find a young man dressed in white who announces to them that Jesus has risen. They receive the news with amazement and fear.

FOUR VOICES, ONE STORY

Return to the Gospels.

The four Gospels narrate the empty tomb and offer different details of the encounters. Here we present them as complementary testimonies without imposing an exact chronology between all the scenes.
